Seeing Stars...

Star Embroidered Midi Dress: Topshop £65

Dolce and Gabbana have most definitely inspired the high street as Topshop have now brought out this stunning star-printed number in stores this week...
This dress left me starry-eyed when I first saw it in Topshop on Monday, I grabbed it straight away and power walked to the till!

This item is perfect for the party season, bringing a cool, relaxed party look to the dancefloor, but for me personally, I plan to rock this star dress casually with some ankle boot platforms and black opaque tights for a chic everyday look and of course a hint of that designer Dolce vibe!

Love Coco

It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year...

Fairisle Knit Blazer Jacket: Junya Watanabe. Fairisle Knit Jumper: Gant

These were my favourite handpicked items from the Christmas shoot with Douglas Booth in this months issue of Esquire magazine.

This shoot was so much fun to prepare for, it was set in a derelict location in the forest, with none other than reindeers and snow! I got so excited, it really did get me into the Christmas spirit :)

I called in a range of designers from Paul Smith, Gant, Hackett, Levis, My Wardrobe, Asos, and Louis Vuitton for this shoot, but these items are most definitely my favourite and really caught my eye with the fairisle detail, and thick knit material. It was just perfect for walking in a Winter Wonderland!

Sunday Girl For Firetrap Launch Party

I just want to say a big thank you to Firetrap for inviting me to the Sunday Girl For Firetrap Launch at 33 Portland place a few weeks ago.

I was informed the venue was in fact where they shot The King's Speech! The event was absolutely phenomenal, with Mahiki coconut cocktails (literally) flowing, Pizza Express, Pink Berry frozen yoghurt and a stunning performance from Jade williams (Sunday Girl) herself!

Laura whitmore couldn't get enough of my headband which in he-insight looks like devil ears, and I congratulated her on her new job co-hosting I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
I also greeted Chloe Simms as I've met her a couple times now, as in my previous job we hosted an FHM event and we invited her.

Professor Green I'm still a bit undecided about...lets just say he doesn't have the warmest personality!
All in all it was a fantastic night, and the fashion was amazing, we spotted a familiar face wearing the faux-fur fox scarf and I crowned him my best-dressed male of the night!

Check out some other celebs that stopped by that night in my first picture and here are the highlights from the night :) x

Reebok Classics Party

Angel rock top: Topshop. Black skater skirt: Urban Outfitters. Tights: Henry Holland

Reebok Classics got together with Sony Music to put on a showcase for some of their artists, including Labrinth and Bluey Robinson.

The venue was absolutely massive and so beautiful, it was in the Old Vic Tunnels in South East London, it had the ora of a museum inside with 3 different, large rooms with art scattered around in each room as you can see from the pictures.

Labrinth absolutely blew the roof off, performing 'Let The Sunshine', 'Earthquake' and a couple of his new tracks including 'Express yourself'.

Me and my bestie Mel took full advantage of the photobooth (rude not too) complimentary drinks, and of course got to meet the man of the minute Dudley O'Shaughnessy ex boxer from Hackney who starred in Rihanna's 'We Found Love' video'!

And not forgetting upcoming singer Etta Bond (in the sunglasses) who is featured on Wretch 32's latest single 'Forgiveness', produced by none other than Larbinth! Catch the brand new video here...

Autumn Days...

Black faux leather head band: urban Outfitters. Fur Leopard print coat: Topshop. Cream feather top: Topshop. Black skater skirt: Urban Outfitters. Black Boots: Topshop. Converse: Office. Leopard print leggings: H&M

Here are my two staple pieces that will carry me through these cold Autumn/Winter days...my Fur coat and my converses.

I've always been a woman of comfort and I can honestly say that these are my two go-too items when it comes to completing any of my outfits!

Call Of Duty MW3 Launch!

Here are some pics (OK a LOT of pics) from the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Launch, I had such a blast at this event! The celebrity turn out was really good with the likes of Ashley Cole, TOWIE cast, Rick Edwards, Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth, Jade (BNTM winner) The Risk and Example just to name a few...

I moshed to Example, danced around like a loon to Chase and Status and met just a few of my favourite celebs right now to countdown the launch of the game which went on sale at midnight on Tuesday 8th November!

Of course Labrinth has to be mentioned first, this is the 2nd time I've met him, as I saw him perform at a Reebok event (pics will be posted soon) and he was absolutely EPIC! His track 'Earthquake' has me on the dance floor and jumping around as soon as I heard it, so it was great to meet him personally, and tell him how amazing his performance was! He was genuinely the most polite and well-mannered celebrity I've ever met, very down to earth and extremely humble, he thanked us for our support and seemed so chuffed that we enjoyed his performance, and in my opinion he is currently the most best-dressed man in the UK right now, hands down!

Also I have to mention Sam and Billie from TOWIE, they were such sweetie's and such a laugh to have a chat with! We had a dance with them, and a gossip outside, about how much we hate Lauren G and we even got a "'we hate Mario" chant going! It was so much fun, I took my bestie Mel, you'll see her mentioned in a lot of my upcoming posts as she is my sister from another mister, and definitely partner in crime!

You can catch the highlights of the launch here, and also see me moshing like a crazy woman 1.25 minutes in :)...

Men's Fashion Market

I recently had an email form Asos regarding a role I applied for as the Men's Fashion Assistant.
When I saw this role advertised I jumped at the chance to apply, as I had just finished Freelancing for Esquire magazine also as a Fashion Assistant.

I really enjoyed working in a magazine environment, and watching the whole team come together to create covers, features and ideas weekly.

I didn't realise I would enjoy working in Men's fashion so much, after lusting over so many women's trends and having an intense addiction to women's magazines and trends I genuinely thought women's fashion would most definitely be my niche, but when I started at Esquire I really did find my calling!
I found that working at a Men's magazine was so much more laid back, from the personalities to the fashion and that's what I loved about it.

Asos asked me to write a 200 words piece on my thoughts of the Men's Fashion Market, and here are my thoughts...

"I am personally really interested in the men’s fashion market because there is still so much movement in the men’s fashion industry and opportunity for growth.

I find that women’s fashion is a much more saturated market as every woman knows exactly what she likes and what she doesn’t like leaving less gaps for marketing. Where as the difference with men’s fashion is that you still have the ability to influence men and their choices of what to wear and how to wear it, for example, with a bright coloured chino or even other exiting trends like corduroy’s.

Currently in menswear there has been a slight financial crisis that has hit the market, but men are seeking a softer look for their wardrobes, and want to be showed how to dress their best for less and I think Asos is the perfect retailer for this.

Men are looking for excitement, and generally want to buy what they have seen in the latest trends leaving a much more open-minded audience to market to. Working for Esquire magazine showed me how laid back the men’s fashion industry is from the personalities to the fashion and that’s what I truly love about it. "
