Call Of Duty MW3 Launch!

Here are some pics (OK a LOT of pics) from the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Launch, I had such a blast at this event! The celebrity turn out was really good with the likes of Ashley Cole, TOWIE cast, Rick Edwards, Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth, Jade (BNTM winner) The Risk and Example just to name a few...

I moshed to Example, danced around like a loon to Chase and Status and met just a few of my favourite celebs right now to countdown the launch of the game which went on sale at midnight on Tuesday 8th November!

Of course Labrinth has to be mentioned first, this is the 2nd time I've met him, as I saw him perform at a Reebok event (pics will be posted soon) and he was absolutely EPIC! His track 'Earthquake' has me on the dance floor and jumping around as soon as I heard it, so it was great to meet him personally, and tell him how amazing his performance was! He was genuinely the most polite and well-mannered celebrity I've ever met, very down to earth and extremely humble, he thanked us for our support and seemed so chuffed that we enjoyed his performance, and in my opinion he is currently the most best-dressed man in the UK right now, hands down!

Also I have to mention Sam and Billie from TOWIE, they were such sweetie's and such a laugh to have a chat with! We had a dance with them, and a gossip outside, about how much we hate Lauren G and we even got a "'we hate Mario" chant going! It was so much fun, I took my bestie Mel, you'll see her mentioned in a lot of my upcoming posts as she is my sister from another mister, and definitely partner in crime!

You can catch the highlights of the launch here, and also see me moshing like a crazy woman 1.25 minutes in :)...

Men's Fashion Market

I recently had an email form Asos regarding a role I applied for as the Men's Fashion Assistant.
When I saw this role advertised I jumped at the chance to apply, as I had just finished Freelancing for Esquire magazine also as a Fashion Assistant.

I really enjoyed working in a magazine environment, and watching the whole team come together to create covers, features and ideas weekly.

I didn't realise I would enjoy working in Men's fashion so much, after lusting over so many women's trends and having an intense addiction to women's magazines and trends I genuinely thought women's fashion would most definitely be my niche, but when I started at Esquire I really did find my calling!
I found that working at a Men's magazine was so much more laid back, from the personalities to the fashion and that's what I loved about it.

Asos asked me to write a 200 words piece on my thoughts of the Men's Fashion Market, and here are my thoughts...

"I am personally really interested in the men’s fashion market because there is still so much movement in the men’s fashion industry and opportunity for growth.

I find that women’s fashion is a much more saturated market as every woman knows exactly what she likes and what she doesn’t like leaving less gaps for marketing. Where as the difference with men’s fashion is that you still have the ability to influence men and their choices of what to wear and how to wear it, for example, with a bright coloured chino or even other exiting trends like corduroy’s.

Currently in menswear there has been a slight financial crisis that has hit the market, but men are seeking a softer look for their wardrobes, and want to be showed how to dress their best for less and I think Asos is the perfect retailer for this.

Men are looking for excitement, and generally want to buy what they have seen in the latest trends leaving a much more open-minded audience to market to. Working for Esquire magazine showed me how laid back the men’s fashion industry is from the personalities to the fashion and that’s what I truly love about it. "

OK so this isn't entirely real....but if you believed it then I guess I've done my job properly!

I was given this task by Strip Wax Bar as I'm going for the Media, Marketing Junior Executive role! They set me 3 tasks: To make an HTML invite for an exclusive event for Strip clients (as you can see above) a press release for a new range in their boutique (posting soon!) and an advert for the company advertising an offer of my choice! (which I will also be posting on here also)

I love doing creative tasks like this, its always fun to use my creativity, although with the invitation above, I wanted to keep it simple, keeping the brands the main highlight, adding their logos with links to their websites, and using images taken from their own websites so that the client invited will have an idea of the event they have to look forward to!

Hope you like it :)

Wonder Woman

Je Adore the new Mac Make-up limited edition range 'Wonder Woman'. I'm really upset that I walked into Mac in Bristol yesterday and discovered the 'Russian Red-Wonder Woman' lipstick is now sold out! :'( After searching pretty much all online websites and seeing the phrase sold out I am determined to hunt it down and make it mine as I have needed a new red lipstick for a while now, and I have an Aqua dress that would go perfectly! As I live in London I think I am at an advantage and will have to search high and low.
Also I spotted the Mac workers sporting a Neon Pink lipstick called 'Candy Yum-Yum'. I want. I need. That is all.

Crochet Love

Crochet Knit cover: Topshop. Black Dress: Topshop. Ring: H&M

It was a beautiful day in London today and finally I can ditch the knit wear and get into the summer spirit :)
I bought this crochet beauty on my shopping outing yesterday in Topshop on Oxford street. I recently started my new job this week for Upfront TV-Celebrities Worldwide as an assistant celebrity co-ordinator, which means I will be booking celebs for press events and I am soooo excited! After the struggle I finally feel content that I am where I belong. I am definitely enjoying have a stable life and enjoying my weekends off, and what better to celebrate than with a shopping trip ;)
I also bought a maxi from H&M, including the ring that I am wearing in the last picture, hope you enjoyed your weekend fellow bloggers! Now to curl up on the sofa with my Cheesecake and watch The Only Way Is Essex! (Guilty pleasure).

Long & Luscious

Leather jacket: H&M. T shirt: Topshop. Wide leg trousers: Topshop

Apologies for the shoddy camera work, I am awaiting a brand new (professional) camera for my birthday next month, so until then I am using my trusty iTouch :)

I have been dying to wear these trousers ever since I bought them, but just haven't found that special occasion yet... Until today! I am off to a family party, and casual chic is always the dress code for any family party right?
I love how these trousers give the illusion of a thin waist! and of course wide legged trousers are most definitely flattering for any curvy girl out there! I am determined to find more occasions for these beauties.
