The Weekend
Sugar Rush (our band...excuse blurry pic!)
This weekend I had 1 of my best buds and my amazing cousin come down to Bristol. It was by far the best weekend I've had in a very long time, with a mixture of girly time, watching The Hills, Breaking Dawn Part 1, eating, nights out, and wine, wine and more wine!
Friday night was by far the BEST night. This was the first time in a long time, I laughed until my cheeks and sides hurt, I danced with no inhibitions, and my confidence level was at it's peak to the point where all I just enjoyed the moment FOR ONCE! I sang, I danced, I socialised, and I felt like the old me again...Also I can confirm that the 3 of us have recently formed a fictionally band named 'Sugar Rush' lol which we fully expressed to people when we were out that we had just been signed and we are set to play a few gigs including Wireless... :/ It may sound weird but try it next time your out, the reactions are amazing! Ha. We played drinking games before catching a taxi into the centre of Bristol hitting my favourite Friday night bar Mbargos for some major dancing sessions! (we genuinely thought we were Beyonce lol). Saturday unfortunately was a bit of a flop... but nevertheless this was the first weekend I stop worrying about all my problems and just had fun!
I think that's what happens to you when it becomes all work and no play...dull would be an understatement for my previous attitude, and I'm finally learning to let go of guilt and enjoy a lot more moments...

Late night purchases...
Beanie Hat: Indcsn , Bra top: Topshop
I seriously struggled to fall asleep last night, so what better way to soothe the soul than to pop online and purchase a couple beauties to ensure I go to sleep with a smile on my face? (this is my logic and I'm sticking to it...)
My first buy was Topshop's PEACE bra top, which I have wanted for a while but it was sold out everywhere I looked! So imagine my surprise when I popped online to find it in my size :-) Only thing is, they only had it in the petite range, BUT my chest isn't exactly well endowed so I think I'll be able to pull it off (cross fingers!).
My second buy is an Indcsn hat....I'm not quite sure what statement I'm going for buying the two of these items, although...it's clear my state of mind last night was somewhat hazy! Never the less, I fell in love with this hat as soon as I saw it, after having it flashed in my face looking through multiple Tumblrs-check mine out here! It has grown and grown on me, therefore I had to have it! (gosh it's harder than it looks explaining purchases! I just wanted it!)

Last Tuesday was the launch of Muse.Tv...a brand spanking new online fashion community for young women founded by Cosmopolitan's Male Blogger of the Year 2011 Simon Glazin.
Bip Ling (1st picture) joined the event as the special guest DJ along with a few the cast members of Towie (because lets be fair...they'd go to the opening of an envelope) and fellow bloggers created a fashion buzz as Simon counted down the minutes to the site going live.
The launch venue was at the Swarovski Crystal Lounge in Soho, where we were served with beautiful coconut Mahiki cocktails, canapes, and frozen yoghurt served with delectable sweets on the side curtisy of 'Yoomoo'.
As we arrived the tone of the party was very chic with the sound of The Ruby Tones gracing my ears in the background singing Jazz versions of popular songs from Ceelo to Adele. Gradually the room began to fill with a handful of Made in Chelsea cast mixed with the The Only Way Is Essex cast, mixed with Vanessa Feltz....Yes you read right....and what would Vanessa Feltz be doing at a FASHION online community launch aimed at a YOUNG audience you might ask?....I don't know I'm still trying to figure it out myself but she brought her husband along, and I couldn't get over that he sang my favourite song of my younger years 'Phatz n Smallz-Turn Around'!
All in all I had a wonderful night, we were meeted and greeted with great hospitality as soon as we arrived, having a chance to get our own personalised t-shirts made, watching fellow guests get the pamper treatment with a hair stylist on hand and getting to have a chat with Simon himself on his success! Not forgetting meeting the lovely Ufuoma (Britain's next top model finalist) who I might have a girl crush on as she possibly had the most smoothest, clearest skin I have EVER seen that I genuinely think I could see myself in the glow of it!
Anyways, back to Muse...the site offers daily/weekly fashion updates, interviews, beautiful presenters, written features, and I for one am definitely intrigued and will find myself having cheeky peaks on my lunch break as who doesn't want the latest updates! Once you join the site you are considered a Muse, therefore you have your chance to interact with fellow fashionistas and shopaholics and exchange fashion finds bringing young women closer to the fashion world at a touch of a button! Check it out here!

Swedish underwear brand Bjorn Borg kick-started London Fashion Week in the derelict Battersea Power Station with an AMAZING ski lodge-themed party, filled with steamy sauna benches, hot tubs, frosted trees, and a sea of underwear-clad models!
Celebrity appearances included Caroline Flack, Gemma Cairn, CBB star Georgia Salpa, socialite Pixie Geldoff as guest DJ, and the hugely talented Robyn and Coco Sumner performing.
Not only were we treated to great performances but also a sexy fashion show with Bjorn Borg's newest collection, my eyes still hurt from all the florescent and glowing UV prints to be honest! Never the less watching semi-naked models in tight briefs wasn't too hard ;-)
The cocktails and food were absolutely delicious, with a menu of Oysters, pork meatballs and cheese fondu along with a dance-filled playlist of songs that had me wanting to dance after a few drinks! It was definitely a great way to kick off London Fashion week! Check out the Bjorn Borg fashion show below...
